At Chestnut Ridge Animal Clinic, our main policy will always be to treat our clients and their pets with respect while providing accessible veterinary care.

Appointments

Please call our office at 315-252-0312 to schedule an appointment for your pet. Once you make an appointment at our office, that time will be reserved for your pet. If, for some reason, you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment time, please call us to reschedule.

What to Bring to your Pet’s First Appointment

Your pet’s first appointment with a veterinarian, or even switching veterinarians, can be intimidating. If it is your pet’s first visit with us please bring any veterinary records that could pertain to your visit from your previous veterinarian. You can ask us at the time you make your appointment about any records you will need. Other than that you just need your pet!

Insurance

We accept direct pay from Trupanion. All other insurance companies require the pet owner to pay the veterinarian and file for reimbursement after the visit.

Payment

We can prepare a written estimate of service fees prior to the examination. If you would like one, just ask a staff member. All fees are due in full at time of service. We accept cash, checks, all major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and CareCredit.
There will be a $35 fee for all returned checks. We also require a non-refundable $60 new patient fee when scheduling the appointment. This goes toward the exam fee at the appointment.
