Dr. Jennifer Hostetler took over ownership in June 2021 and works to provide the best care available to each patient and truly takes an interest in their health.

Jennifer Hostetler DVM

Hi, I’m Dr. Jenn Hostetler! I graduated from the Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. After graduation, I took a job here in Auburn and worked in the area for five years. After a hiatus back in the midwest, I realized my heart was in Central New York and that ownership was in my future. When I came upon the opportunity to purchase such an amazing clinic in CNY, I knew it was meant to be.

I am very excited to provide exceptional care to your fur family and to carry on the tradition of a privately owned practice here at Chestnut Ridge. I have one daughter, Violet, who you will see around the clinic regularly. We have two Shih Tzus named Princess and Bear. I have enough cats to qualify for the “Crazy Cat Lady” club and we have a bearded dragon named Lizzie.

Sissy, Hospital Manager

Sissy retired from her previous position on a dairy farm to take over as the hospital manager here at the clinic. She works hard, or barely works, it depends on who you ask. She has no teeth, but may drool on you when she is really happy. She loves to greet clients when she isn’t napping. At lunch, she demands her lickable treat. We are so lucky to have her!
